E H Taylor Small Batch Bourbon
Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor is celebrated as the founding father of the bourbon industry in the United States. He was introduced to the industry as a banker, and helped to finance several distilleries in their infancy. His interest in the industry grew from those early days and eventually he acquired a small distillery himself called Leestown. He immediately recognised the importance of modernising and upgrading the distilling equipment and he introduced a steam heating technique still used to this day. His distillery was eventually purchased by George T Stagg in 1879.
EH Taylor Small Batch Bourbon is a delicious sipping bourbon - made by hand and with great care. Aged in century old warehouses, the blend is created from the finest casks.
