Azamor - Single Estate
The Azamor estate is situated in the Alentejo region of Portugal, an area regarded as arguably the most important region for red wines in this country. Due to the hot climate in the area these wines are intensely flavoured and with a rich, full body. The cooling influence of the maritime breeze brings a rounding elegance and acidic backbone to the wines that elevates them to a premium standard. They use locally sourced grapes, usually of Portuguese origin and use only the best, selected vines.
Azamor 2019 is a beautifully aromatic wine with lush dark red fruit perfumes. On the palate, the wine is well rounded with an abundance of delicious soft fruit flavours. It finishes smooth and persistent, with soft ripe tannins.
