Cantina di Nizza - 'Le Pole' Barbera D'Asti 2022
Found in the Monferrato area of Piemonte which is famed for it's great quality Barbera, Cantina di Nizza is part of a co-operative which harvests the grapea and makes the wine. The winemaker is Giovanni Chiarle who meticulously oversees all processes, and ensures that all fruit is destemmed to create the cleanest quality of wine.
The 'Le Pole' Barbera comes from the vineyards that surround Nizza and undergoes full malolactic fermentation, retaining vibrant fruit flavours whilst softening the mouthfeel and enhancing the body. This is a superb experssion of Barbera at a great cost.
