Amorcito - Laura Aillaud - France
Laura Aillaud, in a previous life, was a sommelier and restauranteur after initially renting and then buying 3 hectares of vines. She has established her vineyard and winery in the Luberon where she originally came from. She works her vines as naturally as possible and her wines have no additions, except for very low doses of sulphite.
Amorcito is a delicious and surprising red made from Grenache, Syrah, Caladoc (a grape created in 1958 as a cross of Grenache and Malbec) and Carignan. A red blend, vinified in a vat producing a fresh, fruity, quaffable wine which is light and easy. Great for a warm summer evening.
