Pierre Henri Morel - Vacqueyras 2016
Pierre-Henri Morel is a winemaker from the Chateauneuf-du-Pape area of the Southern Rhone through which these collection of wines were born with the aid of vintner Michel Chapoutier whose vineyard is used for growing the grapes. It is a passion project that has produced some outstanding wines that truly reflect the surroundings.
This is a Grenache dominant blend with a small portion of Mouvedre bringing plenty of tannin and a certain smoky aroma. This has a deep yet vibrant purple hue with black cherry and blackberry aromas, backed up by a touch of minerality.
