Mary Taylor - Bordeaux Rouge 2018

Mary Taylor - Bordeaux Rouge is a true representation of Bordeaux's rural soul. This genuine country wine, created by winemaker Jean Marc Barthez in partnership with a small Monségur co-operative, exemplifies the region's alternative and affordable side.
This wine embodies the dark-fruited complexity that Bordeaux is known for, but in a lighter and more refreshing manner, thanks to a signature combination of 50% Merlot and equal amounts Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Because there is no oak ageing, the bursting acidity and graphite minerality shine through, increasing to its drinkability. It goes well with anything from rib-eye steaks and duck breast to mushroom dishes and grilled burgers.
