South Australia

An incredibly important wine region – South Australia is responsible for 50% of the annual wine production in Australia, and it’s home to some of the country’s oldest vines. The climate and geographical area encompass a diverse spectrum; inland, its’ very hot and dry – with very low annual rainfall and the more coastal areas like Adelade Hills are cooler. South Australia has some of the country’s most familiar and well-known brands – super premium brand Penfolds is situated in this region.
