One of Australias premier regions. Barossa valley vineyards were originally influenced heavily by German settlers. The continental climate is particularly suited to producing a full and ripe style of wine, and these grapes were historically used for the fortified wine industry that grew during this early wine-making period. By the late 20th Century, Barossa Valley wines developed to become hugely successful in their own right– the particularly ripe and spicy Shiraz became a style well known and loved to this day. Recently some of the regions 180 wineries have progressed towards the fascinating natural wine movement. We are fortunate to be able to benefit from newly introduced European wine varieties as well as some of the more traditional styles so well loved of this region.
