Sigognac Armagnac VSOP
Description
The Sigognac is an independent family owned house in the heart of the Armagnac region in south-west France. Armagnac is a distinctive style of Brandy. The grapes for Baron de Signognac have all been grown on the estate. It also owns and looks after its own distillery, the ageing cellars and even the bottling facility - something quite rare today.
It is made using column stills - pot stills are used for cognac production. Another interesting difference between armagnac and cognac is that armagnac is traditionally distilled just once, which results in an alcohol level of approximately 52% and a complexity of flavour. The aging process removes some of the alcohol, and is known rather poetically as "the angels share", just like in whisky production. Cognac is distilled twice. Armagnac is one of the oldest distilled drinks in France, and like many other spirits was first concieved for medicinal purposes.
Baron de Sigognac VSOP is a top quality VSOP Armaganc from the Bas Armagnac region. It has spent six months in new casks, followed by seven years in old oak casks, meaning that technically it could qualify as an XO under the current rules.

Shipping Europe: Pre October 31st 2019, we are able to ship throughout most of Europe. Shipping costs differ, relative to the destination country. Costs will be evident at checkout. Examples. Shipping 3 bottles of wine to Spain, approximately £25. Shipping 20 cans of beer to Scandinavia, approximately £60.
Should the customer advise us that a package be left outside their property or for example with a neighbour or work colleague, it is done so at their risk and we cannot accept any liability for any subsequent damage potentially incurred.
If the customer is not in for the delivery the courier company should leave a card and attempt delivery two more times, on the following day and then the day after. Should both these attempts prove unsuccessful the package will be kept at the couriers nearest depot with the customer taking responsibility to collect.
Returns
Upon receipt of delivery the customer has 14 days to return most unopened items in the same condition as purchased for a full refund.
In the case of an error on our behalf (incorrect product to the one ordered) as well as for damaged or defective items please contact us and we will cover the return shipping costs and / or arrange replacements where possible.

Yes of course - just add a message when placing your order and we’ll transcribe it for you and send it along with the parcel.
Where is my order?
We use a courier service. They deliver Monday to Friday. You will be sent a tracking order number when the parcel is collected and will be able to trace when your parcel is out for delivery.
What’s the minimum spend for free delivery?
If you live locally to us within a few miles of Brighton in Sussex, we offer Free delivery for orders over £50 its automatically calculated at checkout.
If you are ordering from further away - spend £150 for Free delivery nationwide.
Can I add something to my order after I have checked out?
