This orange wine is made using Catarratto Extra Lucido - the literal translation being Extra Shiny Catarratto. This indigenous form of Catarratto lends added texture, depth and colour. Picking is done early in August, adding acidity and retaining balance and harmony between the characteristics of the grape. This has flavours and aromas of pithy stone fruits, dried citrus rinds and violet, with a certain salinity on the finish.
