Ardbeg Uigeadail

Ardbeg 10 is a renowned single malt Scotch whisky with a rich history and a distinctive flavour profile. The Ardbeg distillery is located on the Isle of Islay in Scotland on the magnificent and rugged southern coast.

The Ardbeg distillery has a long history, dating back to its establishment in 1815. It has experienced periods of closure and revival throughout the years with dedicated efforts by whisky enthusiasts, and the Ardbeg Distillery Ltd to preserve its inimitable heritage. Despite these challenges, Ardbeg has become highly regarded for the production of exceptional peated whisky.

The Ardbeg distillery is currently owned by The Glenmorangie Company, which is part of the LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy) luxury group. The Glenmorangie Co acquired Ardbeg in 1997, injecting new life into the distillery and helping to ensure its continued legacy as a celebrated whisky producer.

Ardbeg Uigedail is bottled at cask strength. Pronounce it "Oog-a dal" This is a delicious combination of Ardbeg from bourbon barrels and from sherry butts, giving a deeply sweet and smoky finish to this malt with luscious raisiny flavours. The word Uigeadail is the name of the loch from which all Ardbeg water flows. And we have here an absolutely stunning whisky.
