White
White wine is fermented without any skin contact and can be an array of colours from a delicate straw like pale yellow through to a deep amber gold. It’s usually made from white grape varieties but you can actually make white wine from red grape varieties too; the wine maker just presses the juice and removes the skins from the press quickly. Pinot Noir for example can make some superb white wine and is commonly used in Champagne production. We also have a still white pinot noir in store.
