Yamatogawa Shuzo "Moonlight" Yauemon Junmai Nigorizake
Yamatogawa Shuzo is a brewery in Fukushima that is 200 years old. They produce their own rice on the farm organically which is used to create the sake and their focus is on concentrated versions of sake that can be paired perfectly with various food dishes.
Moonlight, or 'Tsuki Akari' in Japanese is called so because of it's moonlight hue - it's pale and creamy. It is a subtle well-balanced sake with a refreshing acidity and a matly sweetness. 'Nigori' refers t the style of sake and more pointedly, the cloudy nature of it.
