Azevedo - Vinho Verde Loureiro Alvarinho
Quinta de Azevedo is a Portuguese vineyard found in the Vinho Verde region. The climate is cool and wet lending itself to the production that is expected of this wine - fresh, acidic and with flavours of citric, bright fruits. They use indigenous grape varieties and a small amount of CO2 to achieve the classic little bit of fizz you get in a Vinho Verde!
Visually this Vinho Verde presents a pale yellow hue, bright and clear. On the nose you will initially get crisp, citrus notes of lime and apple. The palate comes through with the tropical flavours of the region; apricot and peach are present with a tangy acidity that provides pleasant balance. A dangerously easy drinking wine.
