This is a fantastic piceno, with 70% Montepulciano and 30% Sangiovese, it combines the best of both grapes to produce this fruity and well balanced red wine. The nose has notes of spice, red fruit and cherry jam. It has a full mouth feel with a good tannin and alcohol balance and a long fruity finish. Pairs well with pasta and rice dishes, grilled white poultry and medium seasoned cheeses.
In 2015 the vineyard began the long process of moving to entirely organic viticulture, so its being made organically but cant be certified officially yet.
