Podere Brizio are located near Montalcino and produces world renowned Italian reds - most notably of the Brunello variety.
The Rosso di Montalcino is made Southwest of Montalcino in a hot climate with chalky soils, lending the wine a certain minerality. The wine is made to be drunk young and has a fresh, vibrant, fruity flavour - red, zingy raspberry with a floral edge balanced with astringent tannins and a solid acidic backbone.
