The Picaro del Aguila is a blend of several grapes, predominantly Tempranillo, but also with Bobal, Garnacha and Albillo. Fermentation is carried out with all the varieties together in a large maceration, it is then pressed by foot before being aged for 19 months in french oak barrels. The result is a wine similar to classic Ribera del Duero, with a good balance between the fruit and oak and a vibrant acidity. It boasts spectacular tannins with notes of forest fruits and lactic tones producing an impressive complexity.
