Le Salette was established in 1860 in Verona and emphasises the importance of careful growing and handling of the grapes. Made up of mostly single vineyards, they produce top quality wine that reflects the reputation of the area. This is a family run operation and they have chosen to follow viticultural cycles and to 'never force nature.' With their focus on local quality their vineyard has gradually grown in size and stature and is now well known as one of the leading producers in Valpolicella.
The Amarone La Marega is light and fresh with vibrant fruit and a silky, explosive palatte. Valpolicella I Progni, made using the Ripasso method, involves a secondary fermentation on the lees of the Recioto and is perfumed and juicy with surprising longevity.
