Originated in the 19th Century in Ayreshire in south-western Scotland, Johnnies blends were extremely popular with his customers at his grocery store. The business took off after his son inherited the business and began to actively market "walkers old highland" a blended scotch. In 1870 the company used the distinctive square cut bottles for the first time. Since then of course the business has developed it's various colour coded blends and has a well deserved superb reputation.
Johnnie Walker Blue Label is the most illustrious and rarest whisky from this world famous brand. Rich and with a hint of smoke, it's made up of some very old malt and grain Scotch whiskies.
