Herve Villemade - Cheverny Rouge
Herve Villemade is run by the brother-sister duo create exciting natural wines just outside of the Loire Valley region. They also strive to include as little sulphur as possible in their wines - in their whites, none is used.
This rouge has heavily floral aromatics with a spicy edge on the nose. On the palate you get juicy, vibrant cherry with plum fruits. There is a certain earthiness to the red which would pair very well with game dishes. This is a light wine in body and hue, but delivers a full package of flavours.
