The weasel on the bottle design is so gorgeous, and has been designed by Suzie Taylor. The English porcelain bottle is a lovely tactile thing to hold too, it feels special.
Produced in Macclesfield under the Cat & Fiddle pub, the highest altitude distillery in Britain with a network of cellars perfect for ageing whisky.
Using Cheshire grown barley and oats, fermented with native yeasts and their own spring water the distilled product is aged for 3 years in oak before being finished in Oloroso sherry barrels.
This smooth, slightly sweet whisky has notes of sugared almonds and candied orange and on the palate toffee apples, shortbread and raisins.
Only 400 bottles of this whisky have been produced.
