In the whisky world, the angels take their share of whisky from the casks maturing it. In the Caribbean, it's the mischievous Duppy spirits that travel from island to island, taking their share of rum from the casks. This legend is where the stylish Duppy Share Caribbean Rum takes its name.
This is a creation of two distilleries - Worthy Park in Jamaica which began growing sugar in 1721 - it still grows and produces the sugar and molasses for its rum to this day, and Foursquare distillery in Barbados - which uses a combination of continuous and pot distillation for its unique smooth flavour. The contrasting styles (firey Jamaican and smooth Barbadian) are then blended together giving us a bright, bold and altogether very handsome rum.
