Very light straw color followed by complex and fragrant notes of Irish spring, citrus, honey, almonds and dried dates.
This is a rich, beautifully textured dry wine. It is terroir-driven, with the volcanic soil of Savennières underlying the evolving tight texture.
The palate has a razor sharp core of lemon zest with a nuance of key lime pie. Contrastingly voluptuous yet crisp and tight, which will unwind and evolve over years. Honey, walnuts, flowers, salty. lemon rind, underripe pineapple, mushroom, lemonade. Long, minerally. and a touch funky tool. Voluptuous but with pronounced acid.
It develop into a great wine.
