The Dal Zotto family emigrated to the King valley from Italy in 1967 and they are still one of the most innovative and celebrated Australian wine producers. Beginning in the 1990's they introduced the traditional grapes of their Italian homeland which remain the cornerstone of their range today.
This is a full bodied Sangiovese with silky tannins and balanced acidity. The palate has notes of red fruits, blackberries and a hint of thyme resulting in a full flavoured wine with great length. Pairs well with meat dishes, cheeses and poultry.
