Another Family liqueur business based in France but this time in Arcenant in Burgundy. The blackcurrants used in this particular liqueur are grown and harvested by the makers from their own fields so this is an incredibly small production and expertly handmade. The crème de cassis is often used to make a “Kir” by adding to white wine, or “Kir Royale” when adding to sparkling white wine but did you know -  it’s also superb when added to red wine to make a “Communard” Other ways of using this wonderful stuff: add to icecream and yoghurt or sweeten a decadent fruit salad.
