A classic field blend of Portuguese grapes featuring indigenous varieties Trincadeira, Touriga Franca, Castelao and Aragonez, which is in fact Tempranillo. The grapes are grown on chalky clay and schist soils in the southern region of Alentejo, harvested separately throughout September and fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Rich, intense red fruit flavours and spice. Subtle herbaceous notes from the Trincadeira. Aragonez brings ripe strawberry flavours with fine tannins from Castelão. Really silky with good length.
Pitch perfect barbecue red, or with grilled meats generally
