Chateau Musar is world renowned for producing Bordeaux style red and white wines with their own unique twist. The wines are produced with minimum intervention and the vineyards where certified organic in 2006. The red wines are unfiltered and unfined thereby being suitable for vegans. Due to the nature of these wines, especially those over a decade old, the wine should be stored upright the night before service and then decanted a couple of hours before drinking.
After a heatwave hit Lebanon in 2010, the Chateau Musar vineyards were in prime position situated atop the Lebanese mountains in its own microclimate protecting the vines from burning and providing a strong acidic backbone whilst allowing the flavour to develop.
Herbal aromas of lemongrass and fresh thyme, and tangy lemon combined with honey and pine nut. Has the potential to age for longer also - a perfect white to keep fpr a special occasion!
Chateau Musar became a certified organic vineyard in 2006, making this wine completely natural and low in sulphur.
