Calle 23 has been created by Sophie Decobecq, a French born biochemist and engineer.
Sophie has been living in Mexico for the past 15 years and her love for agave and Tequila is well known. Sophie moved to Mexico in 1999, where step by step she started to enter the world of Tequila.
Calle 23 is a 100% agave tequila from the highlands of Jalisco, the Los Altos region. Double-distilled in copper pot-stills to retain the true agave character, Calle 23 reposado has spent 8 months in ex-bourbon casks.
Gold medal winner at the San Fransisco world spirits competition. Whoop!
