Borgogno have been producing wine since 1761 in the region of Barolo in North West Italy. Given it's historical beginnings and roots, the vintners are firmly dedicated to following classic wine-making traditions and follow organic farming practises.
This red is a classic and natural style of Barolo - as it is produced using organic methods there may be some sediment that has settled in the bottle. Fairly light in colour with a punchy backbone of acidity and astringent tannins that smooth out with age - this wine is perfect for ageing. Aromas of tar, forest floor and rose abound.
