This is a premium Pisco made by 1615, whom make the Mosto Verde Quebranta using only the best Quebranta grapes grown at their own vineyards in Peru.
No other ingredients are added. The grapes have a naturally high sugar content and the wines maker uses natural yeasts already present both on the grapes and in the winery/distillery.
Located south of Lima in the Ica province of Pisco, the vineyard was originally part of an old Hacienda run by Jesuit monks who tended the vines and made and sold pisco. The ruins of the Hacienda can been seen on the label.
