Chateau Musar is world renowned for producing Bordeaux style red and white wines with their own unique twist. The wines are produced with minimum intervention and the vineyards where certified organic in 2006. The red wines are unfiltered and unfined thereby being suitable for vegans. Due to the nature of these wines, especially those over a decade old, the wine should be stored upright the night before service and then decanted a couple of hours before drinking.
Made from the fruit of Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, vines planted since 2000 at around 1,000m above sea level in the Bekaa Valley.
This vintage is a deep burgundy red with an attractive red cherry and violet aroma. Juicy, sweet summer fruits; raspberries, black cherries with hints of elderberry and hibiscus dominate the palate which is beautifully balanced with soft tannins and fresh underlying acidity and incense like spice.
