Le Salette - Amarone Classico
Le Salette was established in 1860 in Verona and emphasises the importance of careful growing and handling of the grapes. Made up of mostly single vineyards, they produce top quality wine that reflects the reputation of the area. This is a family run operation and they have chosen to follow viticultural cycles and to 'never force nature.' With their focus on local quality their vineyard has gradually grown in size and stature and is now well known as one of the leading producers in Valpolicella.
Hand picked and dried grapes create this full bodied, deeply flavoured red. It spends 30 months in oak and a further 6 in bottle and has the ability to age further. A classic representation of Amarone Classico.
