The name of the cellar, Abbe Rous, was given in homage to Francis Rous who was a priest given the task of restoring the church of Saint-Jean de la Rectorine in the town of banyuls sur Mer. He decided to also set up a wine business, it was such a success that he provided funds to a new church in a nearby parish as well as his own.
Intensely fruity with smooth tannins this wine has plenty of black fruit and aromas of garrigue.
