Domaine de Galouchy Vin de Jardin 2019
Domaine de Galouchey are to be found in Bordeaux's Entre-deux-Mers appellation and with less than a hectare of vineyard land, they make this particular organic wine from all the grape varieties permitted in Bordeaux - red and white together.
As a riposte to the overhyped 'Vin de Garage' wines of the 1990s, they call their wine Vin de Jardin, and it has quickly obtained a cult following among those drinkers weary of Bordeaux's corporate side. The wine itself is instantly appealing - tons of character, rich, weighty and with a silky texture.
