Thistledown are a collection of vineyard parcels with separate operating wineries. Silken Beastie fruit is grown in low yields in the North West of the Borassa Valley region. Using gentle extraction and and light use of oak, these bold wines are so conscientiously made they are perfectly balanced.
An evolving red with depth and intensity - clearly silky! Complex dark fruit flavours, hints of lilac and liquorice following with some bold yet ripe tannins.
